All Pink Lotus Project NE board members other than the Chief Executive Officer serve voluntarily and receive no compensation. The CEO is the organization’s only compensated board member. Of the $40,000 I Be Black Girl (IBBG) grant, $15,000 supports the CEO’s part-time annual salary and $5,000 supports medical insurance.

Strengthening Our Capacity

Pink Lotus Project NE continues to seek a qualified finance professional willing to volunteer as a board member or advisor. Until that expertise is secured, financial oversight is supported by administrative and bookkeeping work, executive budgeting experience, board review of expenditures, and implementation of an appropriate bookkeeping system.

The strengthened 2026 board distributes responsibility across nonprofit leadership, fundraising, financial oversight, healthcare, technology, marketing, partnerships, communications, administration, and program support.

This structure is designed to improve sponsorship development, financial planning, community partnerships, program implementation, documentation, and organizational accountability.
